Osaka FutureLab 45 NXT Bow Hockey Stick

The Osaka FutureLab 45 NXT Bow is Osaka’s answer to the new design trend that has come to the sport in recent years. Composites have allowed manufacturers to approach shape design more boldly than they have ever been able to, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work on this one.

Unique features include: The hookslot, Osaka have taken a chunk out of the hook, which gives you greater control when dragging the ball or performing skills. They have also completely redesigned the backside of the stick, the carefully designed geometry ensures they have more surface area which results in extra stiffness at a reduced weight penalty. Simply put, these sticks are lighter but offer better stiffness than their traditional counterparts. Osaka anticipate that the Futurelab collection will lay the framework for all their future stick design endeavours.

The NXT Bow has a unique, unmatched powerful hockey stick shape. The maximum bow point lies at 250mm from the head with a maximal height of 24mm. Combining that with Hookslot technology head shape for improved dragging ball control and skills and a geometric, angular profile that requires less carbon, with no reduction to stiffness and power.
