The finest black thread developed by Dukes with leading experts in the field is used for the fully hand stitched seam which gives the ball its unique playing characteristics favoured by International bowlers. The seam is an integral part of the balls construction (unlike on some other cricket balls) which means the ball performs better for longer. The black seam offers the best contrast against the pink leather in day / night conditions.
